TET2
TET2 is a master epigenetic "eraser" that catalyzes the conversion of 5-mC to 5-hmC, initiating DNA demethylation. Somatic mutations in TET2 are a hallmark of the aging immune system and a primary driver of the hyper-inflammatory state associated with Clonal Hematopoiesis (CHIP).
